MIDDLETOWN – The New York State Police are partnering with the New York Blood Center on Friday, August 20, 2021, for a blood drive to help offset the critically low volume of available blood in NY.  The drive is taking place from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the New York State Police Troop F Headquarters located at 55 Crystal Run Road in Middletown

Appointments are preferred but walk-ins are welcome as long as capacity permits.

Donors must wear a mask or face covering and will have their temperature taken.  Those seeking to give blood must be 14 days symptom-free if recovered from COVID-19.

Donations will not be accepted if the person had a positive diagnostic test or experienced symptoms of COVID-19 in the last 14 days, and are ineligible if they are currently on self-quarantine restrictions.

For further information contact the New York State Police at Middletown at 845-344-5300.
