New Jersey man arrested in Sullivan County for predatory sexual assault of child

MONTICELLO – The State Police Sullivan County Child Abuse Unit has arrested a Newark, New Jersey man in connection with the reported sexual assault of a child stemming from 2016.

Police said Terrence Riley, 54, was a suspect in a hotline report investigated by New York State Police and Child Protective Services in Sullivan County. He left the area soon after the alleged 2016 allegations.

Riley was arrested now on August 16 on a felony charge of predatory sexual assault of a child. He was arraigned and remanded to the Sullivan County Jail without bail.
