KINGSTON – The Ulster County SPCA is hosting a Microchip Clinic on Friday, August 13th, 2021, as part of “Check the Chip” Day on August 15th. This clinic is for pets both needing a microchip and pet owners wanting to check a currently implanted microchip.

If your pet is already microchipped, stop by the UCSPCA at 20 Wiedy Road in Kingston between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on Friday, August 13th, to have your pet’s microchip checked. A volunteer will scan your pet to confirm the microchip is still in place, give you your pet’s microchip number, and provide you information on how you can check that the chip is still registered to you. This service is free and does not require an appointment.

To schedule a microchipping appointment, which costs $25 per pet, call the clinic at (845) 331-5377 ext 216.
