MONTICELLO – The Sullivan County Office for the Aging is bringing its services to the community with its “OFA on Wheels.”

On Thursdays and Fridays in August and September, the office will bring an EMT staffed bus to locations so local residents can avail themselves of the office’s services, including COVID-19 vaccinations, said Office Director Lise-Anne Deoul.

“Public Health is aware of this and they are going to ‘jump on the bus’ and they are also going to be able to possibly vaccinate people at this in addition to farmers’ market coupon distribution, giving resources about what Office for the Aging does, getting people registered for Office for Aging services,” she said.

The bus will be visiting Callicoon, Liberty, Livingston Manor,  Neversink, Roscoe, Fallsburg and Wurtsboro.
