KINGSTON – A Shokan man who was arrested twice in 30 days on felony DWI charges, pled guilty to both and faces one to three years when sentencing in Ulster County Court in October.

Marcus Kelley, 32, was arrested on October 25, 2020 and charged with felony DWI. He was mandated to be released as the charge was not a qualifying offense under the state’s bail reform laws.

A month later, he was arrested on November 24, 2020 and charged again with felony DWI.

He was again released and never came back to court.

Kelley was returned on a warrant in April 2021 and has been in the Ulster County Jail since then where he will remain pending sentencing.
