TOWN OF POUGHKEEPSIE – Town officials are seeking input from the community regarding the use and preservation of open space in the town.  Town Supervisor Jay Baisley is asking residents to participate in a brief online survey before July 31.

“Your input will help shape the vision and goals for the Town of Poughkeepsie’s first Open Space Plan,” said Baisley as he asked for the community to participate in the plan that will have lasting effects on the county’s largest municipality.

The Town, according to Baisley, has initiated the development of a Natural Resources Inventory (NRI) and Open Space Plan. The purpose of this survey is to identify the community’s vision and priorities for open space. The information gathered from the survey will help shape the vision and goals for the Town of Poughkeepsie Open Space Plan.

The survey can be taken online here.
