Body is recovered from Delaware River

BARRYVILLE – A body has been recovered from the Delaware River at Cedar Rapids where at least one person drowned in the last several days.

The body was spotted shortly after 9 a.m. on Wednesday and a Sullivan County coroner responded to the scene.

The sheriff’s office has identified the victim as Liony Santos, 17, of Peekskill,  who was pulled under the current days ago.
