POUGHKEEPSIE – The Town of Poughkeepsie has initiated development of a Natural Resources Inventory and Open Space Plan and would like input from residents.

The online survey seeks to identify the community’s vision and priorities for open space; the information will help shape the vision and goals for the town’s open space plan.

The survey, at www.townofpoughkeepsieopenspace.com is available through July 31.

The project has been funded in part by a grant from the state Environmental Protection Fund through the Hudson River Estuary Program.

Town Supervisor Jay Baisley said public engagement is a key component of the project and fundamental to the implementation and success of the plan.
