CORTLANDT – A 69-year-old Ossining committed suicide by jumping off the Bear Mountain Bridge, State Police said.
On Tuesday, June 29, Westchester County 911 received calls from witnesses reporting someone had jumped.
A number of police, fire and EMS agencies responded and searched the river where the body of Jack Murphy was located.
The investigation remains ongoing; however, police said there are no signs of foul play involved.
