URGENT arrests two on drug charges

KINGSTON – Two Town of Ulster residents have been arrested on drug charges by the Ulster Regional Gang Enforcement Narcotics Team.

Kyle Fitzgibbons, 35, was charged with felonies of criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a weapon, criminal nuisance, all felonies, and misdemeanors of criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a weapon and criminally using drug paraphernalia.

Erica Cavallaro, 40, was charged with misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance.

URGENT had previously developed information that Fitzgibbons was selling and distributing narcotics in the Kingston/Town of Ulster area. On June 2, officers stopped Fitzgibbons, who was in possession of crack cocaine. Later that day, officers executed a search warrant at his Town of Ulster home and seized fentanyl, drug packaging materials, digital scales, handgun ammunition, burglary tool and a stun gun.

Both Fitzgibbons and Cavallaro were released on appearance tickets returnable to town court at a later date.
