KINGSTON – Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a Town of Ulster man on a charge of resisting arrest.
Christopher Johnson, 29, was taken into custody following an investigation into his whereabouts. An active warrant for his arrest had been issued for a sex offender registry violation; he is a level three sex offender.
When he was located on June 10, he physically resisted arrest by sheriff’s deputies.
Following arraignment, he was released on his own recognizance pending a future court appearance.
