NEW ROCHELLE – A 38-year-old New Rochelle man was arrested Wednesday afternoon, hours after he allegedly shot his stepfather in the forearm.
New Rochelle Police were called to a private home on Horton Avenue at about 11:46 a.m. where they transported the victim to the hospital for treatment of a non-life-threating injury, according to hospital staff.
Police conducted a follow-up investigation and at about 3 p.m., they located and apprehended the alleged shooter, Daniel Houghton at a South Second Avenue address in Mount Vernon.
Charges were pending, according to police.
