COPAKE – A Copake couple has been arrested and charged with handcuffing an eight-year-old child to a bed frame on several occasions.
Duane McCaul, 38, and Nellie McCaul, 39, were charged with endangering the welfare of a child, unlawful imprisonment, and reckless endangerment.
The pair was arrested on Saturday following an investigation by State Police at Livingston and Columbia County Child Protective Services.
They were released pending a future court appearance.
