Man shot dead in Spring Valley

Police investigate Spring Valley murder late Monday night

SPRING VALLEY – A former Spring Valley man was shot dead in the village late Monday night and police are looking for his killer.

At around 9:50 p.m., officers on patrol on Crispus Attucks Road heard several gunshots in the area.

Responding Spring Valley officers found the man lying in the road on Rose Avenue where he was pronounced dead.

Police have not released the victim’s identity.
