KINGSTON – The Kingston City Police Department, in conjunction with State Attorney General Letitia James, will hold a gun buy-back program on Saturday, June 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Andy Murphy Midtown Neighborhood Center.
Payment for the weapons will be made by gift card at the site at 467 Broadway.
Persons who turn in non-working or antique firearms will receive a $25 card.
Rifles and shotguns will be worth $75 gift cards.
Persons turn in handguns will receive $150 gift cards.
Anyone who turns in an assault weapon will receive e $250 gift card.
The guns must be unloaded and placed in a plastic bag, a paper bag or box.
