O&R names Bloomingburg resident to community affairs position

PEARL RIVER – Orange and Rockland Utilities, Inc. has named Theresa Manera-Mason, the former manager of O&R’s Customer Assistance Department, as a Regional & Community Affairs Manager covering O&R’s service territory in southern Orange County in New York and northeastern Passaic County in New Jersey.

  In her new role, Manera-Mason, a Rock Tavern native, will serve as O&R’s primary community contact for public officials in the towns of Warwick, Woodbury, Tuxedo, Monroe, Palm Tree, Blooming Grove and Highlands and the villages of Highland Falls, Woodbury, Harriman, Monroe, Kiryas Joel, Tuxedo Park, South Blooming Grove, Washingtonville, Greenwood Lake, Florida and Warwick in New York, and the Township of West Milford and the Borough of Ringwood in New Jersey. 

  “Theresa’s strong experience in customer assistance, her deep knowledge of O&R programs that benefit customers and her impressive record as an effective problem solver make her a welcomed addition to our talented team of Regional & Community Affairs professionals.” Said O&R’s Corporate Affairs Director Tom Brizzolara.

  Manera-Mason began her O&R career in 2009 as a customer service representative and has continually assumed roles of increasing responsibility in O&R’s Customer Service Department. Since 2013, she has served in an overall supervisory capacity there: first as the department’s supervisor and, most recently, as the department’s manager.
