NEW ROCHELLE – A 27-year-old New Rochelle man has been arrested after he accidentally shot himself in the leg.
New Rochelle Police said Kareen Manns had been at a gathering at the pavilion at City Park in New Rochelle just before 5:30 p.m. on Friday, May 14 when the shooting occurred.
Police were advised of e incident when Manns walked into the emergency room at New Rochelle Montefiore Hospital. Hs wound was described as non-life-threatening.
Following an investigation, he was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment.
