CORTLANDT – State Police at the Cortlandt barracks are seeking witnesses to a fatal crash between an SUV and a motorcycle in which the biker was killed.
Preliminary investigation revealed that on Thursday, May 13, Joyce Pellegrino, 72, of Peekskill, was driving a 2020 Buick Encore eastbound on Route 6 and made a left turn into the path of a westbound motorcycle. The 2006 Honda motorcycle, operated by Christopher Eastman, 27, of Cortlandt, was struck with Eastman ejected.
He died on the way the hospital while being transported by ambulance.
