TOWN OF WALLKILL – State Police in Troop F issued 595 vehicle and traffic law violation tickets during the May 7 weekend.
From 5 p.m. Friday, May 7 through 5 a.m. Monday, May 10, State Troopers in Troop F issued tickets for 208 speeding violations, seven distracted driving violations, 12 seatbelt violations, nine child restraint violations, seven move-over violations, and removed 22 impaired motorists from the roadway.
State police also responded to 41 vehicle accidents.
Troop F includes Rockland, Orange, Sullivan, Ulster, and Greene counties.
