Newburgh man charged with grand larceny

MONROE – A City of Newburgh man was arrested after allegedly shoplifting $1,146 worth of merchandise from the Monroe Walmart store.

Agapito Camacho, 46, was arrested in the late afternoon on Sunday.

He was charged with felony grand larceny and troopers learned Camacho was a frequent felony offender.

He was remanded to the Orange County Jail pending a future court appearance.
