LIBERTY – A second candidate is running for one of the two open seats for Liberty Town Justice.
Attorney Troy Johnstone has been endorsed by the Liberty Republican Party and Sullivan County Conservative Party.
A graduate of Liberty Central School in 2013, Hartwick College and Albany Law School, Johnstone is an associate attorney at the Law Offices of Brian Rourke.
He currently serves in the Village of Liberty Planning Board and the Town of Liberty Republican Committee.
Liberty Village Mayor Ron Stabak is also running for town justice and has the endorsement of the Liberty Democratic and Conservative committees.
