CIRCLEVILLE – Dinosaurs that once roamed in Orange County are expected once again, possibly as early as next year.

A dinosaur park is planned for the Circleville area of the Town of Wallkill and Supervisor Frank DanDento said approvals are moving along.

“It is going to be an excellent compliment to Legoland and speaks to this idea of this 17/86 tourism corridor that the county is focused on we here in the town are as well,” he said.

Plans for the park that will be tucked away in a wooded area off exit 116 of Route 17, are finalized, DanDento said, and the mechanical, life-size dinosaurs are being housed off-site and ready to roam in Orange County in a year to a year-and-a-half.
