Shooting on Route 211 in Town of Wallkill

WALLKILL – Police are looking for a man suspected in a shooting Wednesday night in the Town of Wallkill.

Around 9:30 p.m., a man was shot in the abdomen in the area of the You You Restaurant on Route 211 in the shopping center district in Wallkill.

There was no immediate word on the condition of the victim and police believed the suspect had fled toward the Monroe area.
