TOWN OF POUGHKEEPSIE – The Poughkeepsie Medical Group has a multitude of appointment spots available for people seeking the COVID vaccine. The Hooker Avenue facility is providing the Moderna vaccine to all eligible recipients who make an appointment.
Dr. Sumita Sunilchand Mazumdar of PMG said, “We are working diligently to provide the vaccine to every eligible person that wants it. Getting vaccinated is a major step to getting the virus under control.”
Appointments for vaccination at PMG located at 375 Hooker Avenue in Poughkeepsie can be made by calling 845-454-5000. The appointments are available Monday through Thursday between noon and 1 p.m. with additional appointments on Fridays between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.
There is no charge for the vaccine, but individuals are encouraged to bring photo identification to their appointment.
