PORT JERVIS – A 25-year-old Sparrowbush man is recuperating at Garnet Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill after being stabbed in Port Jervis Sunday afternoon.
Police were called to an apartment building on Owen Street for a report of a disturbance and they found the victim suffering from a deep stab wound to his upper thigh that was bleeding profusely.
First aid was administered before he was transferred to the hospital.
Detectives are continuing their investigation and ask anyone with information about the incident to call them at 845-856-5101.
