Rollover accident investigated

TOWN OF NEWBURGH – State Police investigated a rollover auto accident in the Town of Newburgh on Friday.

One person had to be extricated from a vehicle by Coldenham firefighters and was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center.

State and Town of Newburgh Police and Town of Newburgh EMS investigated the incident that occurred at the exit 38 off-ramp onto Route 747 when the vehicle struck a guard rail and overturned.
