MID-HUDSON – Rockland County has the highest rating for health outcomes in the state while Putnam County has the highest rate of health factors. The ratings are included in the annual report from the University of Wisconsin and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
In the 2020 study, Rockland was third in health outcomes and Putnam was second in health factors.
Sullivan County continues to be lowest in the region ranking 61st in health outcomes and 56th in health factors in the 2021 report and 60th in health outcomes and 51st in health factors in last year’s report.
The Bronx continues to have the lower rating in both categories in the latest two annual reports.
