Poughkeepsie man arrested for illegal gun possession

LAGRANGE – State Police have arrested a Poughkeepsie man for criminal possession of a weapon as a felony.

Troopers conducted a traffic stop on Route 55 in the Town of Lagrange just before 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 25.

Investigation found David George, Jr., 25, was in illegal possession of a loaded 9 mm handgun with no serial number.

He was arraigned and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail without bail.
