One dead in Thruway crash in Ramapo

RAMAPO – A crash between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle on the northbound Thruway claimed the life of one driver, State Police said.

The crash, at 5 a.m. on Friday, March 12 resulted in the closure of the right lane of traffic for some time as the investigation was underway. Traffic was backed up for two miles.

The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
