Yorktown Police investigate possible fatal hit-and-run accident

SHRUB OAK – Police are investigating a possible hit-and-run accident involving a pedestrian along Route 6 Wednesday evening.

There were unconfirmed reports of the pedestrian being killed.

Route 6 was shut down between Sunnyside and Barger Streets as the investigation continued for hours.
