Man reported shot in Newburgh

NEWBURGH – It happened around 3:30 a.m. Sunday, a report of a man being shot several times in the City of Newburgh.

The incident occurred in the West Street area.

The victim was administered first aid by EMS personnel who transported him to the hospital where, according to police radio communications, he was undergoing surgery.
