GHENT – A 26-year-old Ghent man was committed to the Columbia County Jail on bail following his arrest on Friday, February 26 on charges of felony rape and criminal sex act and a misdemeanor of endangering the welfare of a child.
State Police from the Livingston barracks allege that Cruz Aguilarsay raped a victim familiar to him under the age of consent.
He was arraigned and remanded in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond pending a future court appearance.
