Hyde Park man charged with drug possession with intent to sell

HYDE PARK – Authorities arrested a 47-year-old Hyde Park man on Tuesday, February 23 on a felony charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.

The Dutchess County Drug Task Force, Hyde Park Police and the DEA executed a search warrant at 1102 Violet Avenue in Hyde Park and took Joshua Griffin into custody.

Police seized approximately one ounce of cocaine, 1,000 suboxone strips, 700 controlled substance pills including pressed fentanyl, oxycodone, and hydrocodone, $18,000 in cash, scales, and packaging material.

Griffin was arraigned and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail without bail.

Authorities said additional charges may be pending.
