Four sought in New Rochelle strong-arm robbery

NEW ROCHELLE – Police in New Rochelle ae looking for four men who committed a strong-arm robbery at around 12:40 a.m. on Wednesday.

Police said the men entered the Sunoco gas station store at 71 Huguenot Street with one walking behind the counter and demanding money from an employee. The suspect pointed to the cash register and said, “Give me the money or I’ll kill you,” at which time the register was opened and the suspect took some $200.

The suspects, described as four black men, fled northbound on River Street in a four-door gray sedan.

New Rochelle detectives are conducting a follow-up investigation and anyone with information is asked to call the police department at 914-654-2300.
