AUSTERLITZ – A traffic stop on the Taconic State Parkway in Austerlitz on Tuesday, February 16 resulted in the arrests of two Indianapolis, Indiana people on charges of weapon’s and drug possession.
Danyell Johnson, Jr., 27, and Latoya Moore, 33, were committed to the Columbia County Jail, Johnson without bail and Moore in lieu of $2,000 cash bail or $4,000 bond.
Police recovered 15.5 grams of MDMA, over four grams of methadone, and a loaded 9 mm handgun reported solen in Greenwood, Indiana as well as a high-capacity ammunition feeding device.
Johnson was also charged with criminal contempt for violating a court order barring him from possessing any firearm and Moore was with possession methadone.
