Tractor-trailer overturns, snarls traffic on Mid-Hudson Bridge

HIGHLAND – Eastbound traffic on the Mid-Hudson Bridge was brought to a standstill early Wednesday afternoon when a tractor-trailer overturned on the approach curve on the Highland side of the Hudson River.

New York State Bridge Authority staff blocked off traffic while crews removed the vehicle.

Eastbound traffic was reopened about an hour later.
