POUGHKEEPSIE – Dutchess County Comptroller Robin Lois will be seeking reelection this fall. She will make her formal announcement on Zoom next Monday evening.
Lois, a Democrat, will be joined by State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli, and Elisa Sumner, the chairwoman of the county Democratic committee.
A resident of Lagrange, Lois said she see is running for a second four-year term “in order to maintain the accountability, oversight, and transparency” in her office.
No Republican has announced their candidacy for the comptroller’s job.
