NEWBURGH – First-term Orange County Legislator Kevindaryan Lujan has announced his intention to seek a second four-year term representing the City of Newburgh.
The Democratic lawmaker said he has been “a progressive voice” in the legislature and will continue to “fight Orange County’s one-party Republican rule.”
He said residents of the county “demand for leaders who are unapologetically antiracist, pro-environment, pro-union, pro-Newburgh, and determined to end the backroom, status quo nepotism in politics.”
