KINGSTON – Quarry Waters, LLC, an affiliate of Scenic Hudson, has purchased 520 acres of land between the Town of Ulster and City of Kingston, including Hudson River Brickyard Trail.

Scenic Hudson is in the process of transferring the property to the State Parks Department/Palisades Interstate Park Commission and is seeking public input in planning for the future.

The park includes the remains of historic industrial use, vistas, over 17 unique habitats, and quarried canyons that offer a look into geologic time.

Interested persons may attend one of the upcoming virtual community conversations where they can:

  • Learn about the land, its nature and history
