MONROE – State Police have arrested a 34-year-old Monroe man following a domestic incident on February 6.
Investigation revealed that William Kleiber allegedly assaulted the victim, prevented her from leaving the residence, and from using their cellphone.
As she was leaving the area, Kleiber damaged her vehicle by ripping off the passenger side door handle and smashing the windshield.
There were two children in the vehicle at the time.
Kleiber left the scene, but was apprehended on February 10 in the Village of Monroe. He was driving with a suspended license and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation as well as criminal mischief, unlawful imprisonment and endangering the welfare of a child.
