KINGSTON – Ulster County Legislator Brian Cahill has announced his intention to seek re-election in November. He represents District 4 in the towns of Kingston and Ulster.
Cahill is completing his third non-consecutive term and chairs the Economic Development, Tourism, Housing, Planning and Transit Committee.
He noted that during the first year of their current term, they were faced with the onset of COVID-19 and lawmakers worked with the county executive “to ensure the county could do everything possible to stem the spread of this virus without interruption to our county government services.”
Cahill said he will continue to emphasize the importance of economic development, especially the Enterprise West complex as well as the housing crisis in the county.
