NEW YORK – Four days after the worst storm of the season began to drop snow on the area Sunday night, Pascack Valley and Port Jervis rail lines resumed full weekday service on Thursday.

The foot or more of snow on the tracks led to Metro-North west-of-Hudson contractor NJ Transit to suspend service on both lines.

As the storm let up, crews began clearing the way for the trains to roll again.

NJ Transit will also resume all other service on other rail, bus, light rail and Access Link.
