ALBANY – Counties in the Hudson Valley are in need of thousands of doses of the coronavirus vaccine, but have received only a fraction of what they need.
Each week, officials hope they will receive another shipment as people sign up in droves, not knowing when they will be vaccinated.
In the meantime, 29 more people in the Hudson Valley died from the virus on Friday and 2,104 more people tested positive.
“New York is fighting to beat back COVID as we distribute the limited vaccine available as quickly as possible,” said Governor Andrew Cuomo.
