“Thanks to a partnership with the Novo Foundation, the Land Bank had the opportunity to hire Michael Gilliard full time,” said Mayor Noble. “Having someone with his expertise leading the Land Bank’s efforts will increase our ability to get more houses into the hands of our community members. This will also give our next housing director the space to focus on other vital housing initiatives, which is a win-win for the community. We know  that our local housing crisis will take a multi-faceted approach, and adding resources and capacity will help us  take action in many areas simultaneously.”

“Thank you Mayor Noble for the great honor and privilege of serving the residents of Kingston,” said Gilliard.  “I look forward to working with the next Director of Housing Initiatives to continue to produce results on the housing front. The Kingston City Land Bank looks forward to strengthening our partnership with the City to  amplify our shared goals and provide safe, decent, and affordable places for all of us to call home!”
