POUGHKEEPSIE – Eastbound Church Street (Route 44/55) in Poughkeepsie is closed at South Hamilton Street due to a structure fire.
The City of Poughkeepsie Fire Department has been battling a fire at a house located at the corner of Church and South Clinton Streets since approximately 5:00 am.
Eastbound traffic is being diverted to Main Street from South Hamilton Street.
Poughkeepsie firefighters are battling the fire with the assistance of other local departments.
