GOSHEN – State Police have arrested a 34-year-old Goshen man on a charge of third-degree rape for allegedly having sex with an underage girl.
The State Police Orange County Child Abuse Unit arrested Omar Cruz following an investigation with Orange County Child Protective Services.
It is alleged that Cruz was involved in an ongoing sexual relationship with a child under the age of 16.
He was arrested Monday night and charged with rape and endangering the welfare of a child.
He was arraigned and remanded to the Orange County Jail in lieu of $2,000 cash bail or $4,000 bond.
