KINGSTON – Three people have been arrested and charged with the misdemeanors or promoting prison contraband and conspiracy.
Charged are Diane Maiolo, 35, and Gary Hoffman, 30, both of Kingston and Jessica Henry, 36, of Ulster Park.
Maiolo and Henry were released with appearance tickets returnable to Kingston City Court and Hoffman remains in the county jail on unrelated charges.
On November 4, a quantity of suboxone was discovered by corrections staff in the Ulster County Jail hidden in inbound mail.
Investigation alleges the three conspired to bring the substance into the jail.
