ALBANY – The State Board of Elections has certified the results of the Supreme Court elections in the Ninth Judicial District with incumbent Justice Sam Walker being the top vote-getter.
The district includes the counties of Dutchess, Putnam, Orange, Rockland and Westchester.
Four candidates, all Democrats, will take to the bench in January.
Alexandra Murphy came in second, while Robert Ondrovic was third and Newburgh City Court Judge E. Loren Williams scored fourth.
The three losers in the race to fill four seats on the bench were all Republicans.
