No, this is not a scene from "Ghostbusters," but rather a staffer at the Galleria at Crystal Run sanitizing against COVID-19

WALLKILL – COVID-19 did not appear to deter shoppers from visiting the malls on Black Friday. Shoppers were required to wear facial coverings and practice other protections.

At the Galleria at Crystal Run in the Town of Wallkill, holiday shoppers were met with extra virus protection measures from hand sanitizing stations to blocked off seating areas.

Staff members walked the corridors spraying virus-killing mist on hand railings and other commonly touched areas.

Teresa Gold of Unionville wanted to check out merchandise in person, something she noted could not be accomplished online.

Seth Switzer of Monticello came to the mall to check out holiday gift giving ideas.

Not everyone came to the mall to shop. “I came for a massage,” said Hiram Raldiris of Middletown
