POUGHKEEPSIE – City Administrator Marc Nelson delivered some holiday cheer on Wednesday with the announcement that Poughkeepsie City Hall will reopen for limited public access on Monday, November 30. The building had recently been shut down as several city employees tested positive for the Coronavirus.
“We are going back to the operating system we had in place earlier this month before the unexpected shutdown occurred,” said Nelson. Individuals that seek to do business with any of the offices at city hall are urged to visit the city website for the directory of departments and then call the department to schedule an appointment.
Nelson also noted that there will be regularly scheduled trash collection in the city on Friday, November 27.
